On Thursday, 16th of May, our future writers headed to Aotea Square to attend the annual Auckland Writers Festival. ✍️
This event gathers over 220 of the world’s best writers and thinkers to celebrate the world of books and ideas.
Our students got to listen to local and international authors, including Dominican-American poet and author – Elizabeth Acevedo. She is best known for her New York Times Bestseller book, The Poet X.
It was a great event to celebrate curiosity and a sense of intellectual adventure. Thank you to Ms Holliday for organizing this student trip!
